Words of Encouragement from the Writings of Nichiren Daishonin:
Words of Encouragement from Nichiren Daishonin’s “Kanjin Honzon Sho”
Original Text
“It is solely because one chants Nam-myoho-renge-kyo that the Buddhas and gods of the three thousand worlds all become one’s protectors. It is like the love parents have for their children. For this reason, the heavenly deities and benevolent gods always protect the person, removing all difficulties, extending one’s lifespan, and increasing one’s good fortune.”
Modern Translation
