“The Gohonzon of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo exists within the hearts of all of you. Apart from the heart, there is no other place for the Buddha’s law to reside. Just like the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of all the worlds in the ten directions, they all exist within your hearts. Therefore, the Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts. The Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts. The Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts.”

Modern Translation
“The Gohonzon of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo exists within your hearts. The Buddha’s law does not exist outside your hearts. To put it metaphorically, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions exist within your hearts. Therefore, the Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts. The Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts. The Lotus Sutra exists within your hearts.”
Explanation
This passage was spoken by Nichiren Daishonin to his disciples. At that time, many of the disciples were facing difficulties and hardships. Therefore, Daishonin showed that the true Buddha’s law exists within the hearts of each of them, and that hope and strength are always within themselves.
